Samsung competes with Xiaomi to lead the smartbands sector

Samsung has just offered its own smartband, Galaxy Fit e, for a price of 17 euros to compete with the rest of companies in this segment.

Currently, many of the technological innovations are in the ‘wearables’ market, especially in the smart wristband sector. In fact, these have managed to attract a large number of users over smart watches due to their value for money.

In this context, according to data from the company specialized in technology, IDC, this year approximately 138.5 million devices will be sold globally, 60 percent corresponding to smart bracelets. You can find them for less than 30 euros and they have great functionalities for the sports world.

Undoubtedly, Xiaomi has become one of the leading brands in this sector as it offers bracelets like the new Mi Band 4 at fairly cheap prices. A few days ago we discovered the economic version of this bracelet by the Chinese company, but it seems that the other brands do not want to be left behind.

What are their characteristics?
Samsung has just offered its own smartband for a price of 17 euros to compete with other companies in this segment. The Galaxy Fit e arrived in Spain last May 2019 for 40 euros, but now you can buy it through The Phone House for a much cheaper price to cope with the sales boom of the Mi Band 4.

This Samsung smartband has practically the same features as that of Xiaomi, except for the AMOLED screen and the heart rate monitor. It is a smart bracelet for quite complete sports use capable of measuring the quality of sleep, steps, calories you have burned and sports activities you do.

On the other hand, it is also responsible for synchronizing notifications with your smartphone and has Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity that saves battery life. Regarding its autonomy, the Galaxy Fit e promises a 6-day autonomy with continued use and up to 13 days if we use it occasionally. This is another difference with respect to the Mi Band 4, as the latter offers autonomy of up to 20 days.
