Webinars or online conferences are very practical because they allow you to give a talk or offer a presentation from a distance but without communication problems.

In the same way that many companies conduct remote meetings, either with audio calls or videoconferencing, the training sector also has tools to shorten distances.

We have already seen in previous articles that thanks to technology it is possible to attend an online course at any time and from anywhere, simply with a device connected to the Internet. The same goes for live courses.

Thanks to webinars or web conferences it is possible for people around the world to attend a talk, conference or presentation and even ask questions to the speaker through text chat or voice.

Here are four online tools that you can use for free to set up your own webinars.

Google Hangouts

We start with one of the most practical tools of Google, which although it is not the most popular, it is very useful for all types of audio, video or text communications.

Google Hangouts is used for meetings, presentations and, of course, webinars. You just need to create a conversation and invite participants, who must have a Google account.

Among its advantages, Google Hangouts works from the Web, especially in Google Chrome, as well as from Android, iPad or iPhone devices thanks to official applications. In addition, up to 150 people can participate in a conversation, and in case everyone uses the video call function, up to 10 people can participate in the free version and up to 25 people in the paid version (Google Suite).

Zoom

Another popular online group video calling tool is Zoom, which can also be used for company meetings, presentations and, of course, webinars of dozens of participants.

The free version of Zoom supports up to 100 participants, a figure that can reach up to 1,000 in the most complete paid version. In addition, you can offer video and audio in real time, it includes a chat and it is even possible to share the screen to show, for example, a PowerPoint.

Zoom also has official applications for Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android, as well as online version that works especially well in Google Chrome.

YouTube Live

If your presentation or webinar is going to be public or if you plan to leave a video record for the future, the most comfortable way is using YouTube, and more specifically, YouTube Live or Live, which allows you to start a live broadcast and that can See the people you want, either by letting the reproduction be public or by sharing the viewing link to interested people.

YouTube Live allows you to broadcast an already recorded video or share a broadcast using a webcam. And as for the other users, you can activate the chat to comment or ask questions during your presentation.
